What’s also very interesting about this game is the faster you’re able to solve the “nightmare” the more distorted and the more aggressive the creatures will be. You can store your flare and use it when a crowd of creatures are in your way but this doesn’t last forever! Once you pass a creature they will still continue to run after you. Throughout the “nightmare “there will be flares. The creatures can’t stand heat and bright light. You can also hide from the creature but keep in mind, they can smell you and will eventually find you so if you can run, RUN! There’s objects that you can toss down to delay the creature but I usually don’t do this as it also could delay Harry. If the creature should approach you from the front you can shove it with your Wii controller. The remote is fairly sensitive so don’t use fast motions or you will find it harder to get them off. If a creature does manage to leap on you, using the Wii remote swing your body left and right as you would if a monster were really on your back. The closer the creature is the faster your light will flicker and the louder the static will become. You’re stuck running for your life! When a creature is near, your flashlight will begin to flicker and your cellphone will give off a static sound. All you could do is run! That’s what I like most about this game. You have no kicking or punching abilities. Now, here’s the interesting part! The creatures. The “nightmares” are mazes and with only your flashlight, you must escape the “nightmare”.
If it is day, it will turn to night and everything will eventually freeze over with ice even characters. While wandering Silent Hill, Harry will come across “nightmares”.
You will be searching through this seemingly deserted town. The objective is to find Harry’s daughter. You’ll also come across static images that you can take a photo of and a message will follow. The purpose of the objects will become more evident at the end of the game. Most, if not all objects will come with some disturbing recording or text message that can be heard or read through your phone. You can even use the cell to call and receive calls. This cellphone has a map and can be used as your guide. Your only tool – in the beginning is a flashlight then eventually a cellphone. A man found at the scene of a car crash looking for his wandered off daughter. There’s five different story lines and when you change your answers you may experience a new story, even characters that you meet may look different. This profiling happens periodically throughout the game. You’ll find that if you change your answers that the story itself will soon change. Honesty is usually the best policy so, do your best to answer truthfully. It begins with psychologically profiling you. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories was very surprisingly good! Now, I haven’t tried other Silent Hill games and the graphics aren’t the greatest compared to Playstation and Xbox but I assure you, if you’re one for jumpy games this game has its kicks! Okay yes, I understand that Wii is not the most enjoyable console but when I first moved out that was the only console out of the three I could afford. Hmm.i haven't tried running as administrator but it did work when i was playing silent hill 2.Listening to : We’ll Be A Dream – We The Kings
I'm afraid i can't do that i lost my disc of silent hill for the PSX 7 years ago.and if i did find it its in japaneseĪnd i didn't install epsxe it came with that silentscape version of silent hill.like i said it was just a conversion so its not really a pc version its just a pc rip if its installing it will install the iso and epsxe but the installation stops when it says registering fonts then if you go play the game it will say epsxe has stopped working i know its not the font with the problem cause i have a laptop with xp and i don't remember it installing those fonts. What BIOS version is your PSX (where you got your BIOS SCHP file for running the PSX games), and what method did you use to rip it? Always using an updated version of ePSXe is a good idea, as well as possibly using a good front end like ePSXecutor to set up your games. With that in mind, How did you install epsxe? There are some specifics you need to do, especially in Vista (Runas administrator or *shudder* disable the UAC ) to get it to work.
While using an emulator is a viable solution, I'd suggest a back up of your own original disc, or using the original disc itself and the emulator separately. Paladin181 wrote:This is a downloaded version of the game.
